The success story of Kritika Gaur, founder of the Mauve, is a testament to the fact that with the right training, education and support for women can conquer any height. She has built an empire that started off with a humble beginning, but now stands tall at 800 crore!
Kritika Gaur, who has completed her graduation in Pharmacy , and is also the Co-founder of SK Digital Firm, which she started back in 2021 when she was a 20 year old girl to help people exponentially grow their business and CEO of her luxury apparel brand Mauve.. Her dream of becoming an entrepreneur have just taken her to a write path where she can help people and be a part of there journey and as well as keep a track of hers as well . The choice of hers of entering the world of entrepreneurship was driven by two factors: 1) Her love for classic women clothing and 2) Her curiosity to explore the online marketing platform which she recognized to have a lot of potential.
She hails from a North Indian family, and was born and brought up in Hapur (Uttar Pradesh). Her father was an HR Manager in a clothing company and she says that the seed of her own business in clothing line was a fantasy of hers mind at a quite young age. She also has said that the stock market and real estate were also one of the topics of keen interest to her. In 2025 Kritika’s net worth is $5 Million from her her stock market shares and real estate.
Mauve was founded in 2022 and the idea came to her when she started feeling confident and empowered at being guided through the right way of using the power of digital media and being told which are the right products to be used. She got this experience at luxury brand clothing stores online like Dolce & Gabbana , Ralph Lauren , Moschino , and Kritika , in spite of not being a consumer of luxury products, felt attracted to buy those worth hundreds of dollars owing to the right guidance. She felt the need to replicate this in India but will luxury products but with not so luxury prices and that’s what make Mauve unique in the Indian market as well as International market. She also wanted the women of India to feel empowered.
“I wanted to replicate that in India — a self designed , self manufacturing apparel brand selling the best women classic wear , plus a lot of education to help customers…I wanted to stand for those women who want to be beautiful for themselves, not for men or other women. Indian women were ready for that and that’s why they related to Mauve. It was a type of empowerment.”- Kritika Gaur.
Kritika stresses on the need for women to come out of their shells and be confident about handling both professional and personal lives with equal panache. She says that if a woman with strong determination and will power aims to do something, she will definitely achieve it.
Mauve is primarily an e-commerce website that offers luxury clothing wear and wellness products.. It has its offline presence in 10 stores and is expanding. It has over 1 Million loyal costumers and the number is increasing day by day .
With Kritika Gaur at the helm of Mauve’s and her SK Digital Marketing Firm journey, the brand is sure to see more and more success in the coming years. The brand primarily focuses on women empowerment and provides great career options for women and helps them to grow their business and achieve financial freedom.
As of 2025 Kritika have also laid the foundation of her Pharmaceutical Company which will provide people with low cost medicines to the poor as well as the rich. She aims to provide the best quality medical supplies as low as the price of generic ones. The production and supplies of her medical supplements is expected to start from November 2025. She has also targeted to expand her pharmaceutical supplies to the rest of the world till 2029.
